Mil veces te falle mas Tu fuiste fiel

FINALLY! A designer that I actually feel is inspired, truly inspired with beautiful clothes which look equally as good on the catwalk as they do on dogwalk, (okay maybe that's taking it too far, but nonetheless, take a look at these photographs and tell me if you don't agree. The designer's called Zoe Boomer and I saw some of her designs at a Sisterhood Colour Launch and seriously love them.

This is her Spring/Summer 2011 range and you can buy it all now, here

They say that time heals everything

I recently got a flickr account, here's some of my favourite pictures from 2010 (that I took). This was taken on Boxing Day, we had a nice seaside stroll/jog to work off some of Christmas
This was taken in April, feels so summer-y
I was in Philadelphia in June, got to see the Liberty Bell
Turkey in July, the hottest weather I've ever experienced, gorgeous though
January 1st 2010, I loved the ghostly feel of the bare trees reaching towards each other

Tonight we're going hard, just like the world is ours

This post is so different to my last one, a much cleaner cut designer. Not so airy, more sharp. In her S/S 11 lookbook she's only used four colours; white, blue, green & black. I'm sure they are more technical than that, specific shades. I have a headache right now and these colours are just nice to look at, not too intense, smart yet cool, especially with those striped tights. LOVE them. So what's this designer's name then- Jackie JS Lee, she's from Seoul and was inspired for the next season by Picasso's 'Guitar' and shirts. The campaign scared me a bit, so that's why I've used pictures from the lookbook.

I still believe, its you and me 'til the end of time

So I've been away for a while. My laptop broke, for 4 months! Oh well, we're all good now. Although a lot's happened since then, I got accepted to university, I turned 18 and its been Christmas and NEW YEAR. wow.

A lot has changed in fashion as well, as I look towards Spring/Summer of this year, Meadham Kirchhoff's got frills and cuteness galore. In their LFW show the models had coloured hair which is rather opposite to the usual image which kitsch is, but it works, on some of the models anyway. I really like this last outfit, I'm loving baby pinks right now and I've always (well since I've been thinking about fashion) liked the combination of dresses with fitted jackets.

Peter Pan collars are everywhere right now and I think its such a sweet look. Makes a 'boring' shirt look cool. Although these outfits are far from boring anyway.
I'm not so sure about the trend that everyone seems to be wearing out currently- one sleeved dresses. I understand that people find the new neckline interesting, but I like 2 sleeves or non at all. Just opinion, some people look great in 2 sleeves. Anyway

Happy New Year, xx
